Spring 2027 Financial Aid Application

This form serves as the general scholarship application for the institutional scholarships listed on our website. Additionally, this scholarship application is for new, entering Spring 2027 students. These scholarships are directed exclusively towards tuition and fees. Students are eligible to receive one institutional scholarship per academic year. Please note that submission of an application for financial aid does not guarantee receipt of a scholarship.

Students must submit verification of their military status prior to the start of each academic year. Failure to submit verification in a timely manner may result in a delay of the scholarship being applied to your account and additional fees being assessed. Verification of military status can be emailed to sfs@swbts.edu and must be received by our office before the scholarship can be applied to the student’s account.

If you do not submit your documents before the last day to add or drop classes, this could result in a forfeiture of the scholarship.

If you receive a scholarship, we will use this thank you letter to express your gratitude to the donor(s) who make this scholarship opportunity possible. Please share your appreciation for how this scholarship will impact you now and in the future as you pursue God's calling on your life. We ask that this letter be three paragraphs long and include your your name, degree program, where you are from, short testimony, what you plan to do with your degree, how it will impact your learning at SWBTS/TBC, and at least one prayer request. Please also begin and end by saying thank you.

Occasionally, external foundations, churches, and organizations contact SWBTS with scholarship opportunities for students.

SWBTS will obtain written confirmation that the external source will use this information for scholarship purposes only and will comply with all FERPA regulations regarding use of personal information.
